Do you recall the era when arriving in a Rolls Royce guaranteed all eyes on you? While that might still hold true for some, an increasing number of enthusiasts are driven by a profound desire to personalize these luxurious vehicles to suit their unique tastes. So, while we recently discussed a late 1970s Silver Shadow that underwent a Hellcat swap, the Rolls Royce project we’re diving into today is based on its predecessor, the Silver Cloud from the 1960s – and this one leans more towards ranch utility than showpiece. Even if it’s not first truck with a cabin from Rolls Royce, this is really cool tuning project.
While the previous Gaydon creation was brought closer to the groundโthose supercharged horses demand enhanced handlingโthis one boasts a ground clearance that dwarfs the factory model’s stature.
The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy remains proudly perched on the majestic grille where it rightfully belongs. However, the grille has been detached from its original chassis and now rests on what appears to be a heavy-duty truck platform – an arrangement sure to divide opinions.
Well, at least most of the Silver Cloud III’s body remains intact, up until the midway point of the C-pillars, where it gives way to a spacious platform at the rear.
This beast exudes the aura of being able to haul and tow substantial loads – just take a look at the imposing hardware situated in the middle of the aforementioned platform!
To handle such hefty tasks, the rear axle now sports a dually setup. This seems to harmonize with the spiked lug nuts upfront. However, if you observe the front wheels closely, you’ll notice the “floating” Rolls-Royce emblemโthe one that gracefully remains upright as the wheels turnโis proudly displayed.

This project appears to have been recently completed by an enthusiast under the moniker Jordan Woj on Instagram, showcasing deep-rooted building skills that span from design and welding to tackling various mechanical tasks with ease.
A quick scroll through his Instagram account reveals past endeavors, including the restoration of at least one classic Rolls-Royce. Among his other feats, you’ll stumble upon a 1990s Jaguar XJ sporting a Chevy Big-Block engine and a turbo setup that promises power for days.
While the origins of the mechanical components remain uncertain, certain hashtags suggest the Silver Cloud may have received some Chevy technology, possibly taking the classic LS swap route.
The second clip below, linked directly to Instagram, offers a nocturnal glimpse inside the cabin. Despite the modern upgrades, such as the prominent central screen on the dashboard, the interior retains its opulent charm, with the red leather upholstery appearing to be meticulously redone.
And when ensconced in those sumptuous armchairs Rolls-Royce fondly refers to as seats, what more could one ask for besides generously sized truck door mirrors to ensure awareness of your surroundings?
