Currently, there are two high-cost ways to indulge in a Mercedes GLS-Class. One option is to purchase a Maybach GLS 600 directly from Mercedes, like Kim Kardashian did. Alternatively, you could choose the Brabus 800. However, a third, thrilling choice has emerged: the 850-horsepower Mansory-tuned GLS 63, catering to every SUV enthusiast’s desires.
Mansory, renowned globally for their body kits and custom cars, has a distinctive style. Their carbon fiber package for the Lamborghini Urus is strikingly unconventional, yet captivating. Their customized Ferrari Roma stands out as one of the most stunning V8 modifications.
Their work on the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is as divisive as their Urus project, particularly if you’re familiar with the original vehicle’s appearance. This newly unveiled project features all the expected elements, including a widebody kit and 24-inch wheels.

What truly catches the eye, however, is the inclusion of a bull barโa rare sight on modern SUVs. Typically, a bull bar is attached to an affordable 4ร4 like a Jeep to protect the radiator during off-roading. In this case, it serves more as a bold style statement, given that this SUV is unlikely to encounter any rugged terrains.
The GLS-Class is Mercedes’ largest and most practical SUV. Its success as a pioneering 3-row vehicle even inspired BMW to create the X7. While it may not be a poor off-roader, its starting price of $135,000 and Mansory’s modifications, including lowering the vehicle and fitting expensive wheels, suggest otherwise. The 10ร24-inch black alloys with 295/35 tires provide minimal sidewall, akin to a supercar.
$350,000
While thereโs less carbon fiber on this Mansory creation compared to others, high-end GLS models often sell for $200,000. This particular version likely costs closer to $350,000, ensuring its exclusivity.

The GLS 63 features a rear bull bar and oversized side steps. Given its lowered stance, these additions seem unnecessary unless theyโre intended for external passengers, reminiscent of a SWAT vehicle. The all-black finish further enhances its private military appearance.
The bull bar is optional, as shown in the photo gallery, but the body kit is highly desirable. For an unspecified price, Mansory will add fender flares, spoilers, a trunk wing, and carbon fiber trim throughout. They also offer a custom grille with side openings, similar to Brabus designs.

The re-tuned AMG 4.0-liter V8 engine can boost its power from 720 to 850 horsepower, surpassing Brabus offerings. While acceleration details are not provided, the top speed is capped at 186 mph (300 km/h). Competing with Brabus, Mansory has also upgraded the interior, featuring “3D leather embossing in several colors and carbon applications.”
By the way, here we have else Cadillac Escalade from Mansory and Lexus LX 600 from Liberty Walk. Check out these cool luxury tuned SUV!
